Bhubaneswar May 24 : In the murder case of the Bangladeshi MP, shocking revelations have surfaced. Anwarul Azim Anar, who is thought to have been murdered in Kolkata, is said to have been skinned, sliced up, and his body parts disposed of in numerous plastic packets scattered over the city in an apartment.
Additionally, CCTV footage from the Kolkata apartment where Anar and his companion were last seen a few hours prior to the murder has been turned over to the police. Two men were seen leaving the apartment where Anar lives with a casual gait on the CCTV footage from outside. While the other is seen carrying multiple plastic bags, the first is seen hauling a sizable suitcase. In a statement released by the police on Friday, they said that the preliminary investigation into the “murder” of Anar had shown that one of his acquaintances had paid almost Rs 5 crore to have the legislator from the neighboring country killed. Two days after arriving in Kolkata on May 12, the MP vanished from sight.
Jihad Hawladar, an undocumented immigrant from Bangladesh who was living in Mumbai, has been taken into custody by the West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department. Reportedly, Hawladar has acknowledged his part in killing and chopping up the MP’s body inside an apartment in Kolkata’s New Town. They say he’s a butcher by trade. Unbelievably specific information regarding the exact preparation and execution of the crime has come to light. Reports state that Hawladar disclosed that the mastermind of the crime was US citizen Akhtaruzzaman, a Bangladeshi-born man. Following Akhtaruzzaman’s instructions, Hawladar and four other Bangladeshi nationals killed the MP in the New Town home by choking him.
Law enforcement officials claim that there is indirect proof that the MP was first strangled before his body was dismembered. According to what Hawladar allegedly told investigators, the group killed Anar and then proceeded to skin the body, remove all the flesh, and mince it to obliterate any chance of identification. Subsequently, the skeletal remains were crushed into tiny pieces and put into plastic bags. These packages, according to the suspect, were relocated and disposed of all around Kolkata.
