Bhubaneswar November 21 : The Odisha Police on tweeted about Smruti Prava Pradhan, IIC of Birmitrapur police station in Odisha’s Sundargarh district, being suspended by DGP Abhay for gross misconduct and dereliction of duty on Friday night.
Reacting to this post, former CBI interim director and Odisha-cadre IAS officer M Nageswar Rao wrote: “Sharing of information on Media &Social Media about the suspension of a police officer, is public humiliation of officer &his/her family. It is inhuman. Punish the guilty but don’t humiliate.”
