Bhubaneswar May 31 :Many parts of Odisha will experience below normal rainfall during the monsoon season this year.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre here today said monsoon usually reach the state between June 12 and 15. However, the exact period for arrival of monsoon this year is yet to be ascertained.As per the forecast by DG Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, several parts of north, central and western Odisha are likely to receive below normal rainfall during the ensuing monsoon season. However, a few places in the state will receive normal and above normal.
