Bhubaneswar, Aug 20: Bhubaneswar Round Table 53 and Bhubaneswar Mid Town Round Table 93 today distributed 5000 reusable 2 ply cotton masks and 4500 pieces of glucose drinks to the sanitation workers of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation at Lingaraj Haat, Near Lingaraj Temple as part of community service activities.
Ansuman Rath, Zonal Dy. Commissioner, BMC South East Zone was present on the occasion and thanked Bhubaneswar Round Table 53 and Bhubaneswar Mid Town Round Table 93 for their endeavor towards honoring and supporting the cause of Sanitation Workers who have been at the forefront of BMC’s War against COVID-19.
Akshat Saklani, President, Bhubaneswar Round Table 53, Shri Ayush Sahu, Former President, Bhubaneswar Round Table 53 and Shri Rohan Das, Bhubaneswar Mid Town Round Table 93 coordinated the above programme in which more than 200 Sanitation Workers were provided with Masks and Glucose Drinks.
In addition, the Ladies Wing of Bhubaneswar Round Table 53 has donated 150 Hand Wash, 150 Hand Sanitizers and 300 Gloves to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation to help the Medical Teams engaged in Home Isolation of COVID-19 Positive Cases.
