Ranchi June 29 :A surprising case has come to light in Pankhajur police station area of Kanker district of Chhattisgarh, where three lakh 22 thousand rupees were withdrawn from the account of a woman in three consecutive months. When the woman came to know about this, she filed a case alleging online fraud. After this, when the police started investigation, it was found that the 12-year-old son of the victim woman was buying weapons in order to increase the level of the game.
According to the information, between March 8 and June 10, 278 transactions were done from the account of teacher Shubhra Pal in PV 12 Middle School. During this, 3 lakh 22 thousand rupees were withdrawn from his account.
On June 11, he lodged a complaint regarding this matter. The surprising thing is that even once OTP did not come on his mobile for online withdrawal of money. In such a situation, the police started investigation considering the new trick of the miscreants.
During investigation, it was found from the bank that the transactions of rupees have been done from the mobile number linked to the account. These money have been used to play online games and upgrade the gaming level. The 12-year-old son of the female teacher used to play the online game ‘Free Fire’ with this mobile. On interrogating him, it came to know that the child, who had become accustomed to playing free games, upgraded and started transacting money from the mother’s mobile number in the pursuit of buying weapons.
