His family members admitted him to the hospital after he complained of uneasiness.The condition of the seven-time MLA is stated to be stable. He is reported to be undergoing dialysis at the hospital.Rout represented Balikuda-Erasama and Paradeep constituency under Jagatsinghpur district in the state Assembly.
