For Innovative & Impactful CSR<\/p>\n
Bhubaneswar: 09\/03\/21:On the eve of observation of the State Panchyatiraj & Good Governance Day , to commemorate birth day of legendary Biju Pattanaik , on 5th March 2021, in Odisha , in an event organized by The Interview Times – a monthly English Magazine , the honorable Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly Dr Surya Narayan Patro, felicitated JK Paper with State Business Leadership Award 2021 for its innovative, Impactful and Transformative CSR, projects undertaken by the company for last few years . The General manager, CSR , Prof P K Dhal received the award from the Speaker in presence of 100s top corporate heads, political leader & socialites and members of media fraternity . Twenty other corporate leaders from the state have also been felicitated by the speaker for other categories. . \u201cWe are delighted and encouraged with this leadership award and will do more meaningful CSR projects for transformations of rural & tribal communities of Odisha with the concept of circular & value chain economies \u201csaid Prof Prafulla Kumar Dhal, the GM CSR of JK Paper. As a matter of fact JK CSR through its CSR arm \u2013 the Sparsh Social Foundation has undertaken a number of transformative projects namely Digitalizing Rural communities for youth employments , adoption of Solar micro irrigation for doubling farmers income , brining cottage industries on NTFPs & forest products such as Hill Brooms and Tamarind processing and marketing , setting of mega Rural Hatt for organic products , Rural Mart for SHG products etc and has attracted attention from the government and other stakeholders for its replications . over 11.6 % of Rayagada population have been benefited by the CSR interventions of JK Paper.<\/p>\n
