Mumbai June 3 :When one talks about the Indian cricket team, the talks now currently revolve around the high-profile clash against New Zealand in the World Test Championship (WTC) final.<\/p>\n
The Men in Blue have taken off to the UK on June 3, however, before the departure, skipper Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri showed up for a virtual press conference and addressed various questions from journalists.<\/p>\n
Kohli and Shastri said that the possibility of two India squads playing at two different locations could become a norm going into the future.<\/p>\n
BCCI will be sending a different team to Sri Lanka for a limited-overs tour as the Test team lead by Kohli will be in England preparing for the five-match Test series in July.<\/p>\n
However, during the presser, one particular moment caught all the limelight. Both Shastri and Kohli who were unaware that they were already live were busy discussing their game plan against the Blackcaps. In no moment, the audio of the same discussion went viral among fans.<\/p>\n
In the leaked audio, Kohli can be heard speaking- “hum inko round the wicket dalwayenge, Left handers hai inpe, Lala Siraj sabko start se hi laga denge” to which Shastri replied – “hmmn”.<\/p>\n
If one knows who Kohli was referring to, it could be estimated that both Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami (Lala) will set foot in India’s playing XI against the Kiwis.<\/p>\n
Kohli during the presser had stated, “We have worked hard for finals and nobody can take that away from us! There was no doubt we were gonna be featuring in the WTC Final. It’s like football, we gotta keep our standards high”<\/p>\n
India and New Zealand will play the final from June 18 and the Men in Blue will have less time for their preparations due to mandatory quarantine in the UK.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Blackcaps will have an added advantage as they have are already begun their Test game against the home side for a two-match Test series where they will get the idea of playing conditions over there.<\/p>\n
