72-hour shutdown begins in Rayagada

Rayagada, Aug 2: The 72-hour shutdown in Rayagada district of Odisha began from today to check the spread of Covid-19. The shutdown will remain in force Sunday morning till Tuesday.

This was announced by District Collector Pramod Kumar Behera.

Similarly, the outpatient department of the district headquarters hospital (DHH) has been closed for 48 hours.

On Saturday, as many as 756 COVID-19 patients in the state have recovered and were discharged on Saturday. At least 20 persons in Rayagada district, who have tested positive for the virus have been cured and discharged.
