Cuttack Apr 14 : Khurda and Cuttack are among the several districts which are likely to experience thunderstorm today, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.”Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj today,” the Meteorological Centre predicted.
“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati,Rayagada, Koraput and Nabarangpur,” it added.
Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during next 3-4 days over the districts of Odisha. Maximum temperature is likely to be more than 40°C and above normal by 2 to 4°C at many places over the districts of interior Odisha during next 2 days. It is advised to take precautionary measure for hot weather condition while going outside during 12-3 PM.
