New Delhi 20 Sep : In a historic turn of events, India opened its slick new Sansad on Tuesday. In his speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of the Women’s Reservation Bill while urging MPs to set aside old grievances and begin over.

On the second day of the five-day extraordinary assembly, the LS and the RS met for the first time in their new residence as MPs said goodbye to the nearby colonial-era Parliament building. On this occasion, Modi pleaded with both houses to enthusiastically support the Narishakti Vandan Adhiniyam, a bill that supports women’s reservation.
